well today i didn't get up till 2pm....oops...i'm so lazy!! My parents are gone to Saint Louis for the day and will be back tomorrow morning. My dad had a stress test a week ago and the doctor said that he had a blockage in his valve? so they had to go today and the doctor is putting stint in his valve. When they get home tomorrow Me and Mom are going to go shopping!! i'm excited!! since i have SSOO many quilts to sew and 4 of them have to be done by December mom's going to buy me fabric to start on Amanda's baby quilt!! i guess i better get up and start doing stuff so i don't get yelled at from mom tomorrow!!

I have never blogged before

This is my first time blogging...as you can tell. I've been looking at peoples pages on here so i thought i might get one!! I started sewing my sophomore year in high school. i started out sewing pillows in my FACS class (home ec). Then my junior year i took a class called Clothing and Textiles were all we did was sew. My first project was a strapless dress that had boning... my teacher thought i was pretty brave for taking on such a project for me just sewing pillows before i'll post a picture of my dress later. Then this trend went threw the school of having a tie purse... I've made SSSOOO many of though i think i could make them with my eyes closed lol. My senior year i took the rest of the Clothing and Textile classes... my teacher said that i was the second person to take all four. I took 2 of the classes as regular classes with other students in them, the other 2 i took indepent study while she taught another class while i worked. My senior year i decided for my first project to make me a quilt...and thats where i learned that i LOVED quilting. This is my quilt...and me... i took my senior pictures with it!!! Then Christmas was coming up and there are many little kids on my dads side of the family so i decided to make all of them fleece hoodies... i think i made 10 total... i accidentally made hole in one with the seam ripper and i could not hide the hole so i had to restart...i was so sad :(. But all of the kids loved the hoodies so i was very happy!! Then in my last term of the class my cousin on my moms side became pregnant so for a baby shower gift i made a quilt for her Yes its upside down lol... but this is the quilt!! then it was around prom time... and i wanted to make my prom dress and i found one that i LOVED but my mom refused to pay $600 for a dress that i would wear once... so i decided to make my prom dress... i searched patterns and tried to combine 2 patterns and this it was it came out as Me in my dress...i beaded all toughs beads...it took forever.. This is my dress on my dress form that i got for Christmas last year...her name is Maureen.

Then July of last year i made my best friend manda a quilt for her birthday
